Ovation Benefits Acquires Benefit Consulting Group

Farmington, CT - Ovation Benefits, a national leader in workforce health improvement and one of the largest independent benefits brokers in the country, announced today that the organization has completed the acquisition of Benefit Consulting Group (BCG); a benefits brokerage based in Avon, CT.
Benefit Consulting Group is an independent practice managed by Jeff Worley, who will be coming on board to oversee the 2-49 employee business unit for Ovation effective July 1, 2011. This acquisition is indicative of Ovation's commitment to the growth of the company's small group business practice in Connecticut.
Worley built his practice independently and brings with him an extensive background in the servicing and management of the small and medium-sized business market sectors. Ovation team members had previously worked with Worley when he was a Regional Sales Director for Kaiser Permante in the New England region.
