Through incentives and education, Ovation Benefits seeks to create behavior change
at the corporate culture level. We help clients achieve better business results by improving the health of their workforce. Healthy employees translate directly into a healthier workplace, with reduced healthcare expenses and less time lost to sick leave.
Our health and wellness team works with individuals and organizations to create measured, sustainable change. These programs reduce health risks, including high blood pressure, poor nutrition and obesity. Incentives range from fitness gear to reduced premiums and contributions to the employees’ health savings accounts.
Our Services Include:
Customized Wellness Programs: We provide specifically designed programs and wellness strategies for our clients. Complete support for promotion and communication of your program is included.
Best Practices: We offer recommendations on how to put together a successful program, including establishing a budget, obtaining senior level buy-in and implementing it over time.
Dedicated Team: Our commitment to wellness shows in our staff, which includes a registered nurse, personal trainer and certified coaches. Our wellness coordinators work with our benefit consultants to coordinate all aspects of your program from design and implementation, to ongoing support and employee education.
Pooled Resources: We work with health insurance carriers, clients, community agencies and vendors of choice (including the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association and Mayo Clinic) to leverage existing funding and develop robust programs that address a workforce’s specific risk factors.
Walking the Walk
Ovation Benefits, a 2008 WELCOA Small Business Well Workplace award winner, has integrated wellness programming into our Farmington, CT office. Structured yearlong worksite initiatives include physical activity, weight management/nutrition, stress management, smoking cessation and preventive self-help.
