A Note from Charles H. Taylor, MD

Peter Townsley and I created this program nearly 20 years ago to help individuals prevent and reverse chronic illnesses like Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes and other lifestyle related illnesses. We attribute our success to four basic principles;

  1. To never order a medical test unless we are willing and able to act on the findings,
  2. To follow only evidence based medical science, and,
  3. To commit only to the most aggressive dietary approach for preventing and reversing these diseases, and,
  4. To measure, according to scientific methods, the improvements people are capable of achieving.

We are very proud of the thousands of lives we believe we have improved.

I encourage everyone to better understand their abilities to control their destiny. I'm honored to have the opportunity to serve individuals across the country on behalf of Ovation. I hope my value as a clinical physician will help everyone to make evidence based medical decisions about disease care and prevention.

Thank you.

Aggressive. Effective. Measurable.

Employers have embraced Health Assessments, Screenings and other "wellness" programs as a way to gain insight about health risks in their workforce. This data typically verifies what employers know from analyzing their health claims data. Specifically, that a few preventable and reversible chronic diseases drive most of our health related costs. The question is what to do about it? How can employers engage individuals who are headed for trouble in an effective program that helps the person get out of harm's way and avoid the next big claim? That's where our Risk Reduction Program comes in.

The Risk Reduction Program is a focused and measureable intervention for people who are at risk for specific chronic illnesses including heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and certain cancers. Our outcomes demonstrate clinically valid reduction in risk factors for these conditions in a short period of time. The program is built on an evidence-based medical model and over 40 years of scientific data that demonstrate an indisputable connection between nutrition and preventable chronic disease.

Simply put, our program finds people who are at risk, and then motivates and educates them to make changes that lower their risk factors in just 8 weeks. Want to learn more? Contact Bill Mauke, Workforce Health President at 800-364-7575 x213, or e-mail him at William.mauke@ovationbenefits.com.
